So there’s been plenty of discussion about what the blood film shows. One of the arts of morphology is saying what you see… and saying what you don’t see.
Here is the result of her full blood count:
- Hb: 100g/L (yes… we’re g/L rather than g/dL on #teamhaem!) (115-160)
- MCV 76fL (78-100)
- RDW 18 (11-15)
- WCC 6.5×10*9/L; differential normal (4-11)
- Platelet 12×10*9/L (150-450)
