Case 31 part 1 – the beginning

Evening. This week we will be doing some short cases based around some pictures. Each case will last around 24-36 hours, so get in quick!  As always – the information is posted here and the discussion will be on Twitter. This blood film was taken from a 59 year old from the acute medical admissions ward with “GP admission” as the clinical details.  Other results show:

  • WCC 15.9×10*9/L
  • Hb 109g/L
  • PLT 189×10*9/L
  • MCV 87fL
